My name is Terry Johnston and I now reside in Zihuatanejo, Mexico.
Terry Johnston is an automotive customizing machinist enthusiast, specializing in plasma cutting, welding and metal fabrication. Recently enjoying his new pursuit as a contemporary jewellery artist. I strive for a changing environment and moving out of the comfort zone, which I think is where most people tend to produce their best work. I can’t imagine not being connected to the creativity of art and to a world of talent and imagination where anything is truly possible. I enjoy the way artists create a piece of work delivered with passion and energy, and so I have great respect for anyone who shares there talent and gift with the rest of the world. There is no right or wrong in art creation, it can be translated in so many ways threw the views of all artists and admirers.. Art is not a career choice, it is a life choice. It is my choice and always will be my inspiration in life… Creativity is Happiness!
My lifelong hobby as a Metal Customizing Machinist has extended from large scale metal work to the small scale realm of jewellery making, inspired by plasma cutting remnants and working in collaboration with Melody Armstrong’s direction.
